GP&L Updates Regarding COVID-19:

-Various City facilities, including the Duckworth Utility Services Building are closed. In-person payments can be made at the Utility Payment Drive-Thru (717 W. State St.) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Other utility payment options are also available.

-The City of Garland is working with customers during these difficult times, and will not disconnect electric or water service for late or lack of utility bill payment. Be aware that scammers are especially active at this time. Learn about utility billing scams and COVID-related scams.

When outages occur, GP&L crews work to restore service as quickly as possible. This map shows current outages in the GP&L service area.

For the security of our customers, individual outages are not displayed, and the lightning bolt indicators are shown in the general area of the outages. Click on a lightning bolt for outage information in that area.


The map is refreshed every 10 minutes. You may need to refresh your computer screen periodically to see up-to-date information. Use a mouse, keyboard or fingertip on a touchscreen device to pan or zoom in and out on the map.
